An acoustic covers band is a great choice for weddings and parties. The natural, harmonic sounds of acoustic guitars and vocals mean you can have either intimate, heartfelt music for events such as a first dance, or just good old singalong toe-tapping fun for parties of all types.

Dragonfly The 'Waiheke Wedding Band' that everyone is talking about, Dragonfly are the premiere acoustic cover duo in New Zealand. Combining great voices with beautiful instrumentalism, Dragonfly can move from soft, ambient background songs all the way through to energetic floor fillers that will have everyone singing along at the top of their lungs! Rate: $2000 + gst

Afternoon Delight The fact that Afternoon Delight were the resident musicians at the "Balmy Army HQ' during the 2005 Lions tour tells you a lot about the kind of atmosphere this group can bring to your event. Known for generating a harmonious, singalong vibe, these two experienced musicians can cover a hugely diverse range of songs, from classic artists such as Paul Simon and The Eagles, to contemporary groups like Green Day and Kings of Leon, with even a bit of Michael Jackson thrown in for good measure! Rate: $1600 + gst
