Soul Bands

A great live soul band will have your guests up and dancing in no time. It's a real testament to the power of soul music that it can be as appropriate in providing a smooth, cool atmosphere to your event, or as a raging party starter!

We have two bands available who have been playing to consistently raving reviews all around Auckland and New Zealand. We'd recommend them especially for corporate events, weddings or school balls.

Rates include:

3 x 45 minute band performances

All sound equipment

Ipod between sets (so no breaks in music)

Set up and pack down

The Soul Pit Orchestra Playing a mix of motown, 60's soul and funk, SPO have earned a reputation for raising the roof around many Auckland venues. With their strong vocal harmonies and funky horn, guitar and rhythm sections, your guests will find it hard not to groove along! Rate: $3000 + gst
The Dedwoods The Dedwoods specialise in smooth, laid back tunes that provide a super cool atmosphere for your event. Consisting of four talented and vastly experienced musicians, The Dedwoods can pull off classics from Billie Holliday and Bill Withers right through to modern pop/soul artists such as Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse or Jill Scott, with everything in between. Rate: $3000 + gst
